Stephen Colbert Roasts Bush. To His Face!

May 1st, 2006

Oh, how I love this guy! Stephen Colbert just hit a homerun with his latest feat at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. He must have large cajones.

This is a lot like when Jon Stewart visited Crossfire.

I half expect the Bush administration to snub him out. One day, we’ll find him dead, face down in a ditch, or his plane will mysteriously crash.

Photo Retouching is Fun!

April 7th, 2006

A friend needed an old, small family photograph retouched and enlarged to be printed and framed. There was a huge gash down the middle and many small creases that needed removing. The scanner produced unsightly white and black specs on the image.

The Healing Brush Tool proved to be most effective in repairing the wrinkles. Using Curves, I made the image less faded by making the blacks a bit darker.
