I purchased, read, and loved the 3 part story WE3 written by Grant Morrison and illustrated by Frank Quitely. WE3 is a story about three pets who are kidnapped by the government and put through an experimental program to turn them into fighting machines.

I thoroughly enjoyed the grotesque depictions of the fight scenes. [...]
