Evangelism
A couple years ago, I visited Jocelyn in Tallahassee who presented me with some junk mail brochures she recieved.
There was a big Christian rally coming to town, and these brochures were mailed out to Tallahassee citizens to try to get as many people to come and give them money. This brochure is not far from what shit you find at the check-out aisles at grocery stores, harping about alien two-headed zombie Elvis clone armies and two-hundred pound infants, yet the scary thing is, people buy and subscribe to the horse-shit at these events. It’s scary what strong marketing can do to weak minded people. This event actually made money!
Analyzing
these, you will see that this event uses fear to to motivate people into doing their bidding (probably buying some shit or “donating” money to their organization). You will see images of rainbows, doves, a scary face in a gas mask, explosions, racially balanced family shots (excluding Muslims or Arabs, they’re evil), and a British guard wearing a helmet with 666 Photoshopped on it. I guess this rally doesn’t like the British, guards, or hats.
Notable presentations include:
- “How Near is Armaggedon and the End?”
- “Who Will Be the Next World Ruler?”
- “Revelation’s Greatest End Time Prophecy!” *Don’t fucking miss this because it’s “Revelation’s Greatest End Time Prophecy!”)
The idea that one’s race or culture is the “chosen one” and all others are inferior or evil is a very poisonous and dangerous idea to any society.
