John K has a blog!
John Kricfalusi has a blog (http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/). I look forward to learning what he has to say.
His drawings are so honest and real. His illustrations are pure expressions of how he percieves the subject. Look at some of his charicatures of “beautiful people”. I’ve been a huge fan of John K (and co.) for a long time.
I love the way sexual adult humor is inserted into Weekend Pussy Hunt, Turtle Food Collector, and other work.
John K has alot in common with his mentor, Ralph Bakshi. They are extremely passionate about their craft. (Ralph has a school now!) They have also both lost creative control of their characters and ideas by corporate bullshit. I find it a shame that most people are clueless about what these two have done for animation. Cartoon Network owes so much to Ren and Stimpy it’s not even funny. The world of animation would be a completely different landscape if it weren’t for John K and Ralph Bakshi.
